BMW Group India Appoints Ranjeeka Sachdev as CHRO

BMW Group India has appointed Ranjeeka Sachdev as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Ranjeeka brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources across industries such as automotive, consumer goods, and manufacturing.

Her appointment coincides with broader leadership changes at BMW Group India.

The company recently announced Hardeep Singh Brar as its incoming President and CEO, effective September 1, 2025.

Hardeep succeeds Vikram Pawah, who will take on a new role leading BMW Group Australia and New Zealand.

Background and Career Experience

Before joining BMW Group India, Ranjeeka served as CHRO at Jaquar Group, where she led HR initiatives across global markets.

Her earlier roles include senior HR positions at Pernod Ricard, Gap Inc., Yamaha Motor, and Maruti Udyog.

Throughout her career, she has worked on employee engagement, performance management, diversity and inclusion, and organizational development.

Ranjeeka holds an MBA in Human Resources from the International Management Institute and a Master of Laws from Lloyd Law College.
