Glenmark Pharmaceuticals appoints Alpana Vartak as SVP- HR

A worldwide, integrated, and innovation-driven organization, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has appointed Alpana Vartak as Senior Vice President- Human Resources.

She is an HR Leader with over 18 years of experience in human resources. Moreover, she has vast experience in leading independent Business Units, providing strategic consultation to senior leaders & leadership teams in building and implementing their People Strategy.

Prior to Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Alpana Vartak was associated with Bajaj Consumer Care as Chief Human Resources Officer.

Her earlier stints include working with Mondelēz International as Head of Human Resources- Sales, Cipla as Global Head Talent Acquisition, and Levi Strauss & Co as Global Head Talent Acquisition.

Previously, She was also working with The Coca-Cola Company as General Manager – Human Resources, India & South West Asia. This role was a Business Partnering role in Human Resources that keeps her at the forefront of all business challenges.

Alpana started her career working with Whirlpool Corporation as Deputy Manager HR.

She holds Masters in Business Administration, Human Resources from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
