Jaquar & Company Private Limited, a leading global manufacturer of bathroom and lighting solutions, has appointed Utsav Khandelwal as its Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
The announcement was made in late August 2025, marking a significant addition to the company’s leadership team as it continues to expand across international markets and strengthen its organizational capabilities.
Utsav brings over two decades of experience in human resources, spanning industries such as fast-moving consumer durables (FMCD), healthcare, IT, and retail.
His appointment signals Jaquar’s intent to deepen its focus on talent development, organizational transformation, and global HR excellence.
Extensive Experience Across Multinational Corporations
Prior to joining Jaquar, Utsav Khandelwal served as Director and Head of Human Resources for India at Zimmer Biomet, a global medical technology company.
During his seven-year tenure, he led several transformative HR initiatives, including organizational redesign, capability-building programs, and strategic interventions for spin-offs and new entity setups.
His efforts reportedly improved productivity by nearly 40% and strengthened succession planning frameworks.
Before Zimmer Biomet, Utsav held senior HR roles at Genpact, where he managed strategic HR business partnering across multiple healthcare accounts.
He was instrumental in enhancing employee engagement and implementing data-driven HR metrics that improved retention by 20%.
His early career includes a long stint at Whirlpool Corporation, where he progressed from plant-level HR roles to corporate leadership positions.
He played a key role in talent acquisition, learning and development, and employee engagement initiatives that helped Whirlpool earn recognition as a “Best Employer” in 2015.
Educational Background and Global Exposure
Utsav holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the International School of Business & Media (ISBM).
He also completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School, equipping him with strategic management and global leadership capabilities.
His diverse background and exposure to both industrial and corporate HR environments position him well to lead Jaquar’s people strategy across its operations in more than 55 countries.
