Poonam Burman has been promoted as interim HR Director at Unilever Sri Lanka and category HR head of South Asia – Beauty, Wellbeing, and Personal Care Business Group.
She said on LinkedIn, “I am happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Interim HR Director Unilever Srilanka and Category HR Head South Asia- Beauty Well Being and Personal Care!!”
She has been associated with the organization since December 2018 and most recently before the elevation, she was working as HR Leader-Beauty & Well Being and Personal Care business group.
Poonam Burman is an HR Leader with more than 2 decades of experience in HR business partnering in varied industries like Automobiles, Textiles, Oil and gas Engineering Services, Mining products and services, Telecom, FMCG, Petrochemicals, and IT industry verticals.
Her earlier stints include working with Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd as Sr. General Manager and head Corporate HR, Lexmark as Country Human Resources Manager, Orica as Head HR, Indian Oiltanking as Senior Human Resources Manager, and JayaShree Textiles as Human Resources Development Manager.
Poonam Burman started her career working with HINDUSTAN MOTORS LTD as Deputy Manager- Human Resources.
She holds her master’s in Business Administration from XISS and HR Executive Programme from Ross School of Management, University of Michigan.
