Sushanth Tharappan to be new Head- Human Resources, Infosys

Sushanth Tharappan will soon take up the role of Head- Human Resources at Infosys Ltd., India’s second-largest IT services-providing company. He replaces Richard Lobo, Executive Vice President & Head- Human Resources at Infosys.

This is the second change in the HR department in 2023. Earlier this year Infosys appointed Shaji Mathew as Group Head of Human Resources after Krish Shankar retires on March 21, 2023.

Sushanth Tharappan has been associated with Infosys as a Senior Vice President & Head – Infosys Leadership Institute. In this role, he was responsible for Succession Planning and Executive Development.

He has held various leadership roles at the organization. He holds his Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Mangalore University and completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from St.Aloysius.

In the role of HR Head Richard Lobo was involved in developing organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to the organization’s strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives, leading and motivating team to achieve strategic goals and creating a best in class HR organization to deliver value to Infosys.

Richard Lobo has been associated with Infosys since December 2000. He is an alumnus of Xavier’s Institute of Management and a mechanical engineer from the Manipal Institute of Technology.
