FMC India appoints Satender K Sighadia as HR Head

FMC India has announced the appointment of Satender K Sighadia as Head- Human Resources, effective April 01, 2022.

He replaces Sanjay Gopinath, who is promoted to a larger role based in Singapore. Satender will report to the FMC APAC HR Director.

Ravi Annavarapu, President, FMC India said in a statement, “I am delighted that Satender will be leading one of the most important functions within the organisation – People and Culture.

Satender comes with rich experience and excellent people management skills, and his addition will further strengthen the FMC India senior leadership team.” 

Satender K Sighadia, FMC India HR Head, said, “I am excited to take up this responsibility at FMC, a global leader driving transformation in agriculture – in India and globally. Satender is an ex-Indian Army man. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. He carries the experience of more than 5 years of people leadership in the Indian Army, and 15 years of HR leadership experience within the IT/ITeS, services, manufacturing, and agro-chemical sectors.

He has worked across all areas of the HR workstream with expertise in merger and acquisition, change management, business and people strategy conceptualization, implementation, and business process integration. He has also led transformation initiatives during periods of substantial growth and change.

Satender is an alumnus of MDI Gurugram, is an avid learner, and is certified in various programs including, Harvard ManageMentor, Thomas Personal Profile Assessment (PPA), Career Counselling, and Assessment Development Center (ADC).
