GD Goenka Group appoints Varun Reddy Sevva as Group CHRO

In the educational landscape of India, GD Goenka Group has elevated Varun Reddy Sevva as Group Chief Human Resource Officer. In this role, he will be setting up and leading the HR function for the GD Goenka Group.

Most Recently, he was Chief Human Resources Officer at GD Goenka University. 

Varun Reddy Sevva has nearly 2 decades of HR experience in Recruitment, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Talent Development, and HR Branding & Excellence.

He has a proven track record in Attrition Management and Performance Appraisal Management in both public and private sector enterprises.

Previously, he was associated with Grey Sim Learnings Foundation as HR Advisor & Mentor. In this role, he was setting up HR Practices and Processes in line with the industry best practices for a community-focused social organization.

His earlier stints include working with leading organizations such as Growthpep, Funfirst Global Skillers, Navtech, Samsung Electronics, and Apollo Tyres Ltd.

He holds his Master’s in Business Administration from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and completed his Bachelor of Technology from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, Haryana.
