Samsung Electronics elevates Rishabh Nagpal as CPO, India

A global leader in technology, Samsung Electronics has elevated Rishabh Nagpal to Chief People Office (CPO) in India.

Rishabh has been associated with the organization since 2014. Most recently, he was working as Senior Director – HR with Samsung Electronics.

He has confirmed the appointment on LinkedIn and said, “I’m pleased to share that I have been elevated to the position of Chief People Officer at Samsung Electronics, India!”

He is an astute HR Leader with over 25 years of rich experience as an HR Business Partner Leader & HR Center of Excellence Leader/Corporate HR & HR Transformation Leader in Top Global IT, Telecom/Hi-Tech & Consumer Sales Organizations.

Rishabh has demonstrated strong functional expertise & rich experience in leading various facets of HR functions including Total Rewards, Performance Management, Talent Management & Leadership Succession Planning, HR Transformation & Change Management Initiatives, Leader for International HR, Sales HR, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition & Leadership Hiring across various industries.

Over the years, he had worked closely with CXOs to define and execute the Human Resource Strategy.

His earlier stints include working with leading organizations such as Huawei Telecommunication (India) Company Private Limited, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Dell Perot Systems, and Dell Perot Systems.

Rishabh started his career working with Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. as Executive – HR. In this role, he was responsible for HR Operations, Recruitment, and Corporate HR. 

Moreover, he was an integral part of the founding team of HR which was responsible for the set-up of the operations of the organization in the country.

He holds MBA in HR from Delhi School of Economics and completed his Bachelor of Engineering from Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
