Shahi Exports appoints George Verghese as CHRO

India’s largest apparel manufacturer and exporter, Shahi Exports has announced the appointment of George Varghese M as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In this role, George Varghese will be leading the Human Resources function for Shahi Exports Pvt Ltd.

George Varghese is a versatile human resource professional with over 20 years of experience. He has been associated with Manufacturing, IT/ ITES, Retail, entrepreneurship, and the Pharma Industry.

George Varghese exhibits proven skills in Organisational Direction, Comprehensive Human Resources Policy, Business Planning, Top-line, and Bottom-line focused Strategic Initiatives, and Talent Acquisition.

He excels at Succession Planning, Learning, and Development, Reward and Recognition, Employee Engagement, Compensation, and Benefits, along with identifying growth opportunities to enhance organizational value and performance.

Prior to Shahi Exports, George Varghese was associated with First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) as Head of Human Resources – Global Business Services. In this role, he was responsible for setting up the Human Resource function and operations of Global Business Services providing Innovation and support to the Global Technology Operations of FAB worldwide.

Previously, George Varghese was associated with organizations such as Jugen Hospitality Services Pvt Ltd, Flipcarbon Integrated Solutions Private Limited, Himatsingka Seide Limited, Titan Company Limited, Jumbo Electronics Corp Pvt ltd, Alghanim Industries, Accenture, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Flextronics, and Gati Limited.

George Varghese holds a master’s of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. He completed his bachelor’s from Kerala University.
