Adecco India to Scale Up GCC Workforce to 2,500+ by Year-End

Adecco India has announced a significant expansion of its Global Capability Center (GCC), with plans to increase its workforce to over 2,500 employees by the end of the year.

This expansion is part of Adecco’s strategic vision to enhance its global service capabilities and reinforce its leadership in talent management and workforce solutions across 60 countries worldwide.

Adecco India: Current GCC Operations and Expansion Plans

Currently, Adecco India’s GCC houses over 400 employees across Finance Operations, HR Operations, and IT.

The center plays a central role in delivering high-quality, technology-enabled talent services for Adecco Group’s diverse client base, ranging from large multinational corporations to mid-sized companies navigating workforce transformations.

The expansion will involve scaling up the workforce significantly over the next few months.

Adecco India has also inaugurated its second office in Bangalore to support this growth.

The new office will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, technology-enabled talent services for Adecco Group’s diverse client base.

Strategic Vision and Economic Impact

Sunil Chemmankotil, Country Manager of Adecco India, stated, “The expansion of our Global Capability Center is an exciting milestone for Adecco India.”

He added, “As part of our commitment to excellence, this will help us meet the growing demand for talent services in a rapidly evolving global job market.”

Sunil further stated that this investment is not only a reflection of India’s key role in their global operations.

It is also a testament to the growth potential in Indian market, raising headcount in India to over 2,500.

The expansion of Adecco India’s GCC is expected to create new opportunities for skilled professionals and contribute to the overall growth of the Indian job market.

The company remains focused on talent development and employee engagement.

The new Global Capability Center will serve as a cornerstone for Adecco’s operations in India and beyond.
