Tech Mahindra, a leading IT giant, is recruiting for over 1,500 roles in India, showcasing its continued growth and commitment to expansion.
Recently, Tech Mahindra CEO, Mohit Joshi said that the company is consistently recruiting fresh graduates, maintaining a pace of hiring over 1,500 new graduates each quarter.
This steady addition aligns with their ongoing commitment to expanding their workforce with new talent. Tech Mahindra also announced its plan to hire 6,000 freshers in the financial year 2025.
However, according to Q4FY24 results, Tech Mahindra’s headcount for the fourth quarter ending March 31 decreased by 795 employees sequentially. Over the full FY24, the company’s total headcount declined by 6,945 employees.
Mohit Joshi, MD & CEO of Tech Mahindra said during the Q4 results conference, “There is some reduction in the headcount that reflects the business volume that we are seeing. However, we are one company that is steadily adding fresh graduates.”

He continued, “We are continuing on our path of absorbing 1,500 plus fresh graduates every quarter, with 6,000 freshers being added each year.” This commitment to hiring new talent contrasts with the industry trend, where many peers are hesitant to disclose fresher hiring targets amidst a challenging business environment.
