According to ET, After 6 months of being sacked a BPO employee (Anoop Singh) shoot his former manager in Noida. The condition of the manager is critical and is admitted to the hospital.

Anoop Singh worked in BPO as a data entry operator in NSB BPO under Phase-1 in Noida Sector 2. The injured employee Sadrul Islam is the circle head of the company.

The incident happened on Wednesday. Sushil Kumar Ganga Prasad, the assistant commissioner of police (ACP) -2, Noida zone, told the suspect – Anoop Singh was a resident of east Delhi.

“The police were informed about a shooting at an office in Sector 2. Islam sustained severe injuries to his chest and was rushed to Kailash hospital where his condition remains critical”, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ashutosh Dwivedi said.

“He was sacked because of his bad behaviour. However, he used to visit the office frequently. Prima facie, it appears that he was upset and wanted to take revenge,” Ashutosh added.

“The accused fled from the spot. An FIR has been registered against him at the Phase-1 police station under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC,” the additional DCP said.

As per the CCTV footage, Anoop entered Islam’s cabin and came out. He can be seen entering the cabin again and opening fire at the circle head. He is currently untraceable and is on a run.
