Finland launches fast track line for Indian talent invites new applications

Finland has received more than 1,000 applications from India’s tech talent to join its vibrant start-up and technology scene, which attracts global tech-savvy talent.

But there is still an opportunity to apply, as Finland extends a warm invitation to Indian talent to join its close-knit community in ‘the happiest country in the world’.

The Find Your Finnish Future campaign is now urging talented individuals to submit applications. If successful, the new ‘fast-track’ scheme could see them living their best lives within two weeks’ of a job offer from tech businesses in Finland.

Finland’s recruitment initiative to attract the brightest from India’s tech community has already received more than 1,200 applications for roles through the scheme.

Big-named companies such as Nokia, Nordic Semiconductor and Vincit are among 20 organizations inviting talented tech candidates in India to apply for exciting, new positions as part of the campaign.

Successful applicants will join Finland’s rich high-tech ecosystem, which has turned the country into a technological superpower breaking new ground in 5G, 6G, AI, robotics, mobile, and industrial IoT.

Technology is one of Finland’s main exports, and Finnish companies are at the forefront of world-leading ICT and gaming sectors, including brands such as Angry Birds and Max Payne.

The vibrant Finnish infrastructure of ambitious startups and established tech companies attract talent and professionals from around the world.

Marko Pitkänen, Head of DFE R&D, SoC Development, Nokia said, “Finland’s tech sector is a close-knit community of global talent. At Nokia, we have welcomed specialists with high technology know-how to boost our teams and we value the expert knowledge they bring to our company and to Finland.”
