The tech company, HackerRank which is a technology hiring platform is providing a July 1 to July 9 recharge break.

According to India Today, the company said, “We all have been seeing a lot in recent times about hectic work-life balance, employee making up reasons to get leave or go on vacation. “

“This thing by HackerRank is great and should be appreciated for considering the well-being of all employees and offering company-wide Time off”, the firm employees said.

They further added, “#kudos to the management for taking such bold decision”

The company is a technology hiring platform that is the standard for assessing developer skills for over 3,000 companies around the world.

HackerRank helps companies hire skilled developers and innovate faster by enabling tech recruiters and hiring managers to objectively evaluate talent at every stage of the recruiting process.

Companies are now releasing the importance of short breaks for employees to control the attrition level and additionally, this can even improve the overall productivity of employees.

Recently, yet another tech company Go Nimbly has strengthened its HR Policy (Flexible Time Off Policy) by deciding to adopt a leave policy in their firm which made it mandatory for employees to take 20 leaves every year.

Kyle Lacy, Director of People Operations at Go Nimbly shared the information on LinkedIn and said, “I used to think ‘Unlimited’ PTO was an anti-employee policy, was firmly against it, and would gladly die on that hill. We rolled out a Flexible Time Off policy in Q2 this year. What happened, and how do I sleep at night?”
